November Volunteer Forum gets a hoist
At Seymour DMO facility the November Volunteer Forum reached new heights to get a good look underneath at the latest happenings in CFA.
Our stars of the show downed tools to share their experiences of being a District Mechanical Officer (DMO) with CFA.
Bairnsdale DMO OIC Steve O’Shea guided viewers on a tour under the chassis of a CFA tanker to highlight the work our DMOs undertake to keep CFA’s fleet available for our volunteers.
Mt Evelyn DMO OIC Chris Harry followed up with handy hints for what volunteers should look for when conducting their weekly checks of their appliances.
Apprentice DMO Maddison Colville shared her story live on the panel, as well as the benefits of a career in this field in a pre-recorded video.
We had an active chat with plenty of questions on trucks, which were addressed by the Chief and CFA leaders live and in the chat.
