The Shepparton COGS Group recently hosted a Fire Extinguisher Information and Testing Day, welcoming members of the rural community to the Shepparton Livestock Saleyards for a hands-on safety initiative.

Local farmers and members of the wider rural community brought in their fire extinguishers for inspection and servicing, thanks to the expert support of the Tallygaroopna Fire Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Team.

The team tested a large number of extinguishers and facilitated the sale of many new units, helping ensure properties across Greater Shepparton are better prepared for fire emergencies.

The day was a great success and a testament to the power of community partnerships in promoting fire safety and preparedness.

Tallygaroopna brigade extended thanks to the Group Management Team and Paul Huntington, Industry Fire Prevention Officer from District 2 HQ, for their valuable support and presence on the day.
