Busy day at Broadford

An afternoon call-out for Broadford FB as the Volunteer Forum crew arrived launched the April Volunteer Forum into action.

It capped a busy day for the brigade and Captain Luke Crampton, who hosted courses on-site and attracted a great audience for the evening.

We learned about Broadford being the 32nd brigade to join Fire Medical Response, with four brigades coming online today taking the active total to 15 brigades. New Broadford member Kelly McCabe outlined how being able to use her medical skills was the catalyst for her joining.

Viewers were also exposed to the support Broadford offers in the BA space, where cylinders can be easily swapped out and refilled.

We also profiled the triangle brigades – Marysville, Buxton, Narbethong – and how their partnership makes each stronger.

It is another entertaining Volunteer Forum, with all segments listed below.
