Apply to be a part of the 2026-27 Women’s Mentoring Program
Mentee and mentor partnership
Mentees and mentors in CFAs 2025-26 Women in Leadership Mentoring Program came together on 18-19 April for their mid-program workshop - an important milestone in the program's agenda.
The workshop created a valuable space for reflection, connection and growth. A key focus was on valuing our women volunteers - recognising the immense contribution women make across CFA. Confidence and resilience were also central themes throughout the weekend.
These sessions encouraged honest conversations, helping to normalise shared experiences, while equipping women with tools to continue building their capability both personally and professionally.
A standout component of the workshop was the Linton Staff Ride, which provided a powerful and immersive learning experience. Participants learned about what happened on 2 December 1998, reflecting on decision-making and communication. The Staff Ride not only deepened their leadership understanding but also strengthened connections within the group, fostering a strong sense of trust and camaraderie.
As the current cohort continues their journey, we are excited to announce that expressions of interest are now open for the 2026-27 program. This program offers a unique opportunity for women to develop their leadership skills, expand their networks and build confidence in pursuing new roles and opportunities within CFA and for members of any gender to support them in their journey.
If you’re looking to challenge yourself, grow your leadership capability and be part of a supportive and empowering network, we encourage you to apply. More information about the program can be found on the members online page.
EOIs close on Tuesday 30 June 2026 and should be submitted via the relevant online form for mentors of any gender and women mentees.
The Women in Leadership Mentoring Program is funded by the Volunteer Leadership Development Program (VLD), which also supports Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, the Regional Leadership Scholarship Program, Women’s Challenge Camps, the Captain's Peer Mentoring Program (CPMP) and the Emerging Young Leaders Mentoring Program.
