2025 Victoria Police & Emergency Services Games report
The two CFA netball teams
The 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games were held from 5 to 12 October 2025.
Ninety-five CFA members participated in the games across 26 sports out of the 42 offered. Most popular with our members were netball, equestrian, lawn bowls and shooting. Other sports CFA competed in included running, basketball, cycling and hockey.
CFA members won gold, sliver and bronze medals in many of the sports. Congratulations to all those who participated in the games, particularly the captains of team sports who organised their teams.
Thanks also to CFA leaders DCO Garry Cook AFSM, DCO Alen Slijepcevic AFSM and AFCO Chris Eagle for presenting medals at the games.
Overall, there were 2,565 competitors from 24 agencies and CFA was the sixth most represented agency.
Advertising for the 2026 games will begin as soon as the dates are announced. Next year, it's possible the games will take place in March or April.
