At CFA we are always looking at ways we can improve how we communicate with our members and provide you with the advice and information you need.

We all communicate through a wide range of channels every day. Our members are busy people. To ensure they can perform their roles, it’s vital they receive information and news in a format that suits them.

That’s why it’s important to continually assess our current channels such as Members Online, Member eNews, the Volunteer Forums, emails from CFA leaders, All Staff Sessions, social media platforms and Brigade Magazine, as well as other communications you may receive from CFA.

Our biennial Communications Survey is now open, and we encourage you to take part. This survey is used so we can make sure that the communications we deliver are relevant, timely and easy-to-read.

2025 Communications Survey

Your feedback in important. The findings from previous surveys have led to changes by the Communications and Stakeholder Relations team, including a new Content Management System, focus on improving the search capability on CFA’s digital platforms, introducing monthly Volunteer Forums, online All Staff Briefings, improving CFA’s Digital Library, introducing engagement platform District Engage, and developing template assets for members to use.

This survey is available to all CFA volunteers and staff. The more responses we receive, the better the data, so we encourage members to have their say and help us make further improvements.

The survey will be open until COB Thursday 31 July, after which time we’ll provide a summary of the results and make recommendations based on with the feedback.
