CFA is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards in protecting the health and safety of members, visitors and contractors.

Each year, CFA undertakes Workplace Hazard Inspections in all CFA workplaces as part of its goal of ensuring we can provide a workplace that is free from harm. Undertaking workplace inspections is a vital task that can help CFA proactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions that can help prevent incidents, injuries and illnesses.

What has changed?

CFASafe Incident and Hazard reporting module recently went through a facelift to the more intuitive user friendly R3 version.

The next module to be updated to CFASafe R3 was the checklist and inspections module.

From 1 July can enter your local checklists and inspections from the new-look CFASafe or from the Riskware app.

Pocketaudit has had a name change to Riskware

Same as the Incident and hazard module, Riskware is now the application used on mobile devices to submit and review CFA Workplace Inspection checklist.

Pocketaudit will be permanently  closed down and will no longer be accessible to members.

How can I access the new Riskware app?

To access the Riskware app, members will be required to download the Riskware app via the Apple or Google stores.

This can be done by searching for  “Riskware” or using the relevant QR code:

You will be required to log in to your account again.

To assist you in the log in process, a QR code has been created to configure the account to the CFA settings:

A qr code on a white backgroundAI-generated content may be incorrect.

Your log in details will remain the same as your current CFASafe and PocketAudit.

  • For employees: log in using your normal login for CFA sites.
  • For volunteers: log in using your volunteer member number i.e. 12345@cfa.vic.gov.au

The password is the same as the password you use to log in to Members Online.

Where do I go if I need assistance?

Updated user guides and instructions have been developed and can be found on the safety page on Members Online.

If further support is required CFA's Health and Safety advisors are also available to assist you. You can find your advisor on our dedicated page on Members Online.
