October Volunteer Forum from Bannockburn
Bannockburn hosted the October Volunteer Forum, with special guest Board Chair Jo Plummer on hand to update on the future of CFA.
All eight Board members presented on their vision for CFA in a special video presentation.
At the station, Bannockburn Captain Shannon Robinson was joined by former captain Dale Smithyman to showcase the history of Bannockburn brigade, which celebrates 100 years in 2025.
Local CFA members also discussed planned burns and the challenges of season preparedness in the region. We were also joined by co-tenants SES to celebrate the collaboration between the agencies.
We also had the monthly Training Update from DCO Rohan Luke and a tour of the Lavers Hill Refuge Centre.
