The Junior Leader Forum has transformed into a dynamic roadshow format, featuring three regional, day-long events over the course of three months. These forums are crucial for the professional growth of Junior leaders, providing them with a platform to influence the Junior Volunteer Development Program (JVDP), exchange ideas with peers, and gain insights from community leaders.
The inaugural forum took place in Warragul on 31 August, where 15 Junior leaders gathered to explore best practices, brainstorm innovative ideas, and discover new resources, including activity cards designed to enhance their local programs. The event was a resounding success, leaving participants energised and optimistic about the future of the Juniors program.
The second forum, held on 14 September, in Ararat, saw 20 Junior leaders come together. This event continued the momentum and enthusiasm generated by the first forum.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate the final roadshow event of the year on 13 October, in Shepparton. This forum promises to be another fantastic opportunity for Junior leaders to connect, share experiences, and gain valuable insights as we shape the future of the JVDP together.
