Junior Leader Forum 2024
Calling all Junior leaders. This is a rare regional opportunity for Junior leaders to come together in person to develop skills and ensure they are up to date with new developments in the youth space.
The State and Regional Volunteer Sustainability teams present the 2024 Junior Leader Forum Roadshow. This year, we are taking this show on the road with three regional locations available over the coming months.
The fully catered one-day forum is free to attend and participants will be provided with resources. Districts and brigades are spreading the word to ensure their Junior leaders don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn and share with other members.
Junior leaders, brigade members considering starting a Junior brigade, supportive district staff and any other CFA members looking to become more informed about Juniors are welcome to attend the Junior Leader Forum.
This is an opportunity for Junior leaders to meet, develop skills, and ensure they are up to date with new developments in the youth space. On the agenda are highly requested sessions such as recruitment, networking and panel discussions, so get in quickly for sessions at Warragul, Ararat and Shepparton.
Junior leaders are encouraged to bring their ideas and experiences – including activity plans – to share with their peers. The forum’s interactive sessions promote collaboration between Junior brigades and opportunities to use new Junior resources such as the Junior website. We will also be building relationships and local networks, diving deeper into the Junior Volunteer Development Program and introducing the new Junior initiatives.
With more opportunities than ever to attend the Junior Leader Forum across the state, the team hopes to reach more Junior leaders in:
- Warragul at the District 9 ICC on Saturday 31 August
- Ararat at the District 16 ICC on Saturday 14 September
- Shepparton at the District 22 ICC on Sunday 13 October
Feedback is welcome on the locations and dates in order to improve the frequency and accessibility of the Forum next year and beyond.
