Emergency Services Foundation Diversity and Inclusion Awards
Applications are open for the Emergency Services Foundation’s Diversity and Inclusion Awards.
On 5 March 2026, the Emergency Services Foundation (ESF) will host its annual International Women’s Day Forum.
The Diversity and Inclusion Awards, which recognise and celebrate leading practice in promoting inclusion and gender diversity among ESF's 12 member agencies, will be presented at this event.
CFA is conducting an internal nomination process which will close on Monday 1 December. To nominate a program, colleague or team who have demonstrated a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, use this Award Nomination Form.
There are three award categories. Categories one and two are intended to acknowledge a program, not the agency in general.
- Gender Inclusivity Initiative - This award acknowledges a particular program within one of ESF’s 12 member agencies at the corporate, branch or unit level.
- Women's Equality Initiative - This award acknowledges a particular program within one of ESF’s 12 member agencies at the corporate, branch or unit level.
- Diversity and Inclusion Champion - This candidate will have made a significant impact to advance diversity and inclusion through demonstrated actions and initiative in their workplace, regardless of their role or rank. They should be a shining example of, and role model for, gender diversity and inclusion.
A representative from the Diversity and Inclusion team will be in contact to discuss your nomination with you.
Shortlisted applicants by ESF will be invited to the forum on 5 March, with winners asked to speak briefly as part of a panel discussion.
CFA's Paul Santamaria, General Manager Infrastructure Services, received the Diversity & Inclusion Champion award at this year's ESF International Women’s Day Forum.
We encourage every one of you to consider nominating any program, colleague or team that have demonstrated a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.
