Volunteer Forum survey
June 2024 Volunteer Forum at Tyers Fire Brigade
For more than three years, one of the ways CFA has been engaging with volunteers is through the monthly Forums where you get to hear the latest CFA news and ask questions live as a member of the audience or in the online chat.
The Forum has been hosted in every region and in 19 of our 21 districts. Our highest engagement has been for the Forum from Berriwillock which attracted more than 7,000 views and where a new Ultra Heavy Tanker was showcased. The average audience for Forums over the past 12 months has been more than 3,200 views.
Our analytics show people primarily watch the Forum on their mobile phone, television or tablet, and that there is a high uptake of the live chat feature.
Regular host Chief Officer Jason Heffernan thoroughly enjoys each Forum and the opportunity to address queries directly and live to air. He also really values visiting brigade and district volunteers, where he hears first-hand the experiences of members.
To view Volunteer Forums each month and watch past Forums, visit the CFA YouTube page.
We want to hear from you to assist in guiding the future direction of the Volunteer Forum, both in presentation and location.
