Volunteer Forum highlights many faces of CFA

 

This month's Volunteer Forum was broadcast live from Rochester Fire Brigade in District 20, one year on from the major floods of 2022.

 

Several members who were directly involved in the response to the floods shared their experiences, including how they found support during the different stages of the recovery process.

As we head into summer, DCO Gavin Thompson spoke about the latest fire season forecast and DCO Rohan Luke delivered the regular monthly training update.

Also on the panel this month was Bamawn Extension member Josh Watson who spoke about how, as someone who is blind, he contributes to CFA.

As it's the last forum for the year, the night finished with a 'year in review' video with footage and photos showing major events of 2023.
