Thoona Fire Brigade awards and elections
Captain Tony Rak was presented with a small token of appreciation from Secretary Chis Gibson.
On Wednesday 29 March Thoona Fire brigade held its biannual elections and awards night.
Awards were presented to Captain Tony Rak (45 years of service), Phil Irvine (35 years), Evan Lowe (25 years) and Jim Rainey (25 years). In all, there was 420 years of service to CFA.
There was a special thank you on the night to Captain Tony Rak for all his hard work and dedicated service during his 23 years as captain. He has stood down and will be handing over the reins.
