Introducing File Uploads in FIRS Online
We are thrilled to announce a new feature that will make recording incidents even more efficient and convenient for you - File Uploads.
File Uploads is a new feature coming soon to FIRS Online that allows you to attach files directly within incidents. Whether it's documents or images, you can now easily upload and access them all in one place, enhancing incident reporting.
Why File Uploads matters
- Enhanced documentation: Store important documents and records alongside incident details for easy reference and documentation.
- Enhanced reporting: Attach evidence or supporting materials to incidents for more comprehensive reporting.
- Security: All uploaded files are stored securely to ensure data remains confidential.
Key features of File Uploads
- Maximum number of files: You can upload up to five files per incident, ensuring you have ample space for all relevant materials.
- Maximum file size: Each file can be up to 5MB in size, accommodating most common file types without any problem.
- Accepted file types: Supported file types include image files (.jpeg, .jpg, .png), PDFs, words docs and Excel files (.xlsx, .xls), making it easy to attach various document types.
The File Upload feature will be available under the Incident Comments section within reports.
In addition to the above feature, there has been a Collection Statement added to the launch page of FIRS Online. We are committed to ensuring the FIRS Online program is used in a productive and safe way with a focus on privacy and appropriate use. Please ensure you are familiar with the content of this statement before proceeding.
