Horses and bushfire - new photos on Digital Library

 

New photos on CFA’s Digital Library showcase practical steps to prepare horses for bushfire season.

 

The collection highlights best-practice actions such as placing horses in designated safer paddocks; horse identification and more.

Images are designed to support member communications, training sessions, and community engagement - helping owners understand how to reduce risk and act early.

Members are encouraged to log in to the Digital Library and search Horses: Preparing for fire to explore the new collection.

The images can be used for brigade social media, presentations, local workshops, and printed materials.
