Come cheer on the CFA netball team as they compete for gold at the Emergency Services Games on Wednesday 8 October at Waverley Netball Centre.

CFA is proud to be fielding a diverse netball team in this year’s Emergency Services Games — a spirited round-robin tournament featuring fast-paced matches of two eight-minute halves.

The action kicks off at 9.30am, and we’re calling on all CFA members to come down and show your support.

  • CFA teamwork: The squad brings together CFA members from across HQ departments and district offices, both operational and non-operational.
  • Healthy bodies, healthy minds: Sport is a powerful way to promote physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Emergency services camaraderie: With teams from FRV, Victoria Police and other agencies, it’s an opportunity to build relationships, enjoy some friendly rivalry, and earn a few bragging rights.

Let’s rally behind our team. Your support from the sidelines will mean the world to our players. Wear your CFA colours, bring your energy, and help us bring home the gold!

Meet the Squad: Adam King (Captain), Amy Schildberger, Grant Tweedie, Hannah Bigham, Jacinta Hansford, James Roy, James Wong, Jenny Angus (Coach), Jess Pell, Kacey Burnett (Vice-Captain), Leilani Gibson, Lottie Read, Lucy Bishop, Natasha Perduv, Ricky Read, Sean Bigham, Tanya Lavin.
