CFA is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryce Morden to the CFA Board, effective until 16 June 2028.

Bryce replaces Beth Davidson OAM, who retired in May after completing her second term on the CFA Board. We would like to take this opportunity to again thank Beth for her commitment and dedication along with her valuable strategic and operational insights.

Joining Bryce in this term are Rachel Thomson, Tony Peake OAM, and Ross Coyle AFSM, who have each been reappointed to serve until 2028.

Bryce brings a wealth of experience in emergency services, regional development and community engagement. A CFA volunteer since 2005, he began his service in Maffra, Central Gippsland, before moving to Timboon in 2010, where he has served as captain and Group Training Coordinator. He currently serves as Deputy Group Officer in the newly-formed Apostles Group.

With a strong background in operational strategy, stakeholder collaboration and organisational leadership, Bryce is known for his strategic thinking, integrity and hands-on, pragmatic approach. His professional background includes senior leadership roles and board directorships, with expertise in regulatory frameworks, policy development and capacity building.

Bryce is a passionate advocate for regional resilience and volunteer-based emergency services, and we look forward to the valuable perspective he will bring to the Board.
