Apply to be a part of the next Women’s Mentoring Program
Mentee and mentor partnership
Expressions of interest are now open for the 2025-26 CFA Women in Leadership Mentoring Program.
Designed to enhance the capability and confidence of our women volunteer leaders, the Women in Leadership Mentoring Program is ready to launch its 2025-26 program.
Women volunteers who are currently in, new to or wanting to step into, leadership roles and interested in being a mentee and all volunteers and staff (including secondees) of any gender who are interested in being a mentor, are encouraged to review the Women in Leadership Mentoring Program Members Online page.
The online information provides an overview of the program, a summary of the selection criteria and a summary of frequently asked questions.
"There is significant opportunity to receive professional development through tailored mentoring to enhance my skills and career developments,” said Ilona Goswell, 4th Lieutenant at Milawa Brigade.
“From a networking perspective, the program provides a platform for connection with other leaders and professionals across Victoria”.
EOIs close on Saturday 31 May 2025 and should be submitted via the relevant online form for mentors and mentees.
Applications will be reviewed by the selection panel with successful participants advised in the week commencing 11 August. The program commences with an initial briefing workshop scheduled for 3-5 October in Marysville.
The Women in Leadership Mentoring Program is funded by the Volunteer Leadership Development Program (VLD), which also supports Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, the Regional Leadership Scholarship Program, Women’s Challenge Camps, the Captain's Peer Mentoring Program (CPMP) and the newly launched Emerging Young Leaders Mentoring Program.
