Are you interested in attending an emergency management conference?

 

The Expression of Interest to attend conferences in 2025 is now open. CFA is supporting volunteers and staff, including FRV secondees, to attend the following emergency management conferences:

• Emergency Management Conference (EMC): Reflections & Realities – where will the next 25 years take us? Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 July 2025, Pullman Melbourne, Albert Park
• AFAC Conference: From local to global: leveraging systems, capability and connection. Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 August 2025, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre

Please note that the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference (ADRC), Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and Women and Firefighting Australia (WAFA) Conferences are running in conjunction with the AFAC Conference.

Expression of interest process

Expressions of interest for the emergency management conferences must be submitted via the online EOI form and address the relevant selection criteria. These will be reviewed and endorsed by department, region and district representatives.

Important dates to remember

Please note these key dates are for the internal CFA endorsement process

• Attendance EOIs close on 18 May 2025
• Notification of internal selection by 13 June 2025
