ICT's business analysts recently visited Bayswater Fire Brigade.

The purpose of the visit was to showcase a busy working brigade to some of the newer and longer-term business analysts, so they could gain a better understanding of who they actually support at CFA

The first 15 minutes of the visit was spent with Basywater Captain Jamie Mcfarlane, who gave the team an overview of the brigade structure, personnel, roles and support area.

The remaining time was spent touring the brigade and its vehicles. Jamie showed each vehicle and explained its role hin the brigade. He also demonstrated the equipment and its purpose.

All the business analysts walked away from the visit with a greater understanding of brigade functions and an improved appreciation of the link between them and the brigades and its members.

While concluding the tour, a real call came into Basywater brigade and the team was able to witness first hand brigade members in full action preparing and leaving for an incident, which was a great experience.
