Women's Health Week
Women are performing more roles at CFA than ever before, with many women being elected as brigade captains this year.
This is great to see, and CFA would like to ensure that all women are supported to be as healthy as they can be in their roles, both within and outside of CFA.
It’s also important for men to understand women’s health so they can support the women in their lives.
Women’s Health Week is Australia’s largest event dedicated to health and wellbeing of women, girls and gender-diverse people. This year, it will run from the 4-8 September, with each day dedicated to an aspect of women’s health.
All about how your wellbeing at work, including menopause, fertility treatment, period pain and mental load.
How to optimise your health through your diet – covering recipes, nutrition tips for women, healthy eating, gut health, protein, calcium, magnesium and vitamin D.
The CFA Health Services pages have several healthy recipe ideas, plus information about how to best make healthy food choices.
Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is a national not-for-profit dedicated to improving health outcomes for Australian women. It supports research and medical education, and this Women’s Health Week is holding events across Australia.
If you would like to run an event in support, registrations close on 4 September.
