Join our online Q&A session on Thursday 29 August at 12.00pm with guest speaker Sarah Trombetta, Board Director of Wear It Purple, to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ awareness day.

Wear It Purple Day is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and support for LGBTQIA+ youth, particularly in Australia. Held each August, the day encourages supporters to wear purple as a symbol of solidarity and to affirm that LGBTQIA+ young people have every right to be proud of who they are.

This year’s theme 'Your Passion, Your Pride,' highlights the achievements of LGBTQIA+ young people in various fields such as sports, art, science, and beyond. It’s a celebration of their visibility and success, demonstrating that they can and do excel in all areas of life.

Join us for a special session featuring GGM Support Services Kylee Bates and ACFO David Harris, who will interview Sarah Trombetta. Sarah will share her experiences and insights related to her work with Wear It Purple.

To register for the session, please email diversityandinclusion@cfa.vic.gov.au.
