Volunteer Forum chills out at Coldstream

On a cold evening in Coldstream, the May Volunteer Forum addressed all the hot topics across CFA training as well as celebrating our volunteers during National Volunteer Week.

With host Acting Chief Officer Garry Cook AFSM and DCO Operational Doctrine and Training Rohan Luke leading the way, the panel of experts covered off General Firefighter, Training Pathways, new digital assessments, training principles, volunteer instructors, women only training, LMS updates, new doctrine, RTO governance and so much more.

Coldstream captain Sean Bethell showed off the new Coldstream station and we introduced polls into the chat for those watching live, where we discovered 87 per cent of our audience are CFA members and they wanted to hear more about training pathways.

We featured three videos highlighting CFA volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week and showed the support of volunteers participating in filming training videos to help teach other volunteers.
