Volunteer Engagement Approach - open for feedback

The Sustainable Volunteerism Team have recently completed the draft Volunteer Engagement Approach, and are now inviting members to provide feedback to improve the project.

In line with the broader CFA Engagement Framework and the Volunteer Charter, CFA is committed to meaningful and inclusive engagement with our volunteers on programs, projects, policies, procedures, or initiatives that affect them.

The Volunteer Engagement Approach (VEA) provides guidance on how all members are to be engaged by the organisation, emphasising the importance of member feedback.

The VEA outlines the engagement principles that reflect CFA’s commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration. It recognises the shared responsibilities of CFA volunteers and personnel in working together to achieve service delivery outcomes. The VEA also ensures clarity on what volunteers can expect when CFA engages with them on matters of importance.

We invite you to view the Volunteer Engagement Approach, then complete our Member feedback survey, which you can find here.

Feedback closes Sunday 5 January 2025.

If you have any questions, please contact the Sustainable Volunteerism team via volunteer.sustainability@cfa.vic.gov.au
