Pentland Group has dedicated its new FCV in memory of two long-serving members and Deputy Group Officers, Peter Ractliffe and Steve Arandt.

The special tribute was unveiled last Thursday evening by Pentland Group together with the Ractliffe and Arandt families.

Peter was a member of Bacchus Marsh Fire Brigade for 35 years and Deputy Group Officer for Pentland Group for five years.

Steve was a member of Bacchus Marsh Fire Brigade and then Parwan Fire Brigade for 41 years and a Deputy Group Officer for Pentland Group for nine years.

Both Peter and Steve were community-minded gentlemen who generously gave back to their community.

Both men were active in their roles until they passed away.

As well as serving the community through fire prevention and suppression, their names will be remembered in Pentland Group for generously giving their time to the training and mentoring of other firefighters.

For those who now and into the future, have the privilege to do our duty in this vehicle, we dedicate it to the memories of both Peter and Steve.
