Supplementary Alerting Service (SAS) - Planned outage
The Supplementary Alerting Service (SAS) will be unavailable from 11pm, Tuesday 12 August to 2am, Wednesday 13 August due to planned maintenance.
The Supplementary Alerting Service (SAS) is undergoing planned maintenance.
SAS will be unavailable from 11pm, Tuesday 12 August to 2am, Wednesday 13 August (3 hrs).
Pagers remain CFA's primary alerting method and will be unaffected by the outage.
How am I affected?
The SAS app, including the receipt of messages and notifications, will be unavailable during the works. The work impacts the physical server responsible for delivering SAS alerts, so members will not receive incident notifications.
What do I need to do?
Members should not expect to be able to access SAS during the outage. They should ensure pagers are turned on.
