Staff profile: Meet Jaime Noye
Jaime Noye is a Business Support Officer - VEMTC within Operational Doctrine and Training.
What is your favourite aspect of working in your team?
It’s a super-fast paced team. We receive hundreds of action items each day and things can shift quickly, but that’s where the strength of our team shines. You won’t find a more supportive and ever caring team that holds the outcomes for our end clients – the volunteers – to the highest standards
What’s the most interesting project you've worked on at CFA?
Training is so varied, and we are admin – the pointy end for everyone else’s projects. But it’s great to see more and more women’s and youth days being booked. And the most eye opening was the rescue equipment displayed at the training grounds and the capacity of what those teams can do – huge wow!
What’s a hobby or interest you have that might surprise your colleagues?
My kids and I are learning to crochet, old-school I know, but my girls are really getting into it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I’d love to get a motorhome and follow the Tour de France.
If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Cathy Freeman – what did you tell yourself when you needed to push through?
What is one thing you can't live without at work?
My team – so supportive and a strong team camaraderie. And Libby – she gives me a big belly laugh every time we are in the office together – without fail.
