What is your favourite aspect of working in your team?
The solution and team focus. With a good mindset everything is possible.
What’s the most interesting project you've worked on at the CFA?
My time in CFA has been varied, and it goes to show you never know where you are heading next! A rewarding project was to add the Advanced Diploma of Public Safety (Firefighting Management) to CFA’s Scope of Registration pre fire services reform. Working from end to end on this project was a rewarding experience. Further I was involved in coordinating over 5 new fire station openings in District 10. Working directly with and supporting volunteers was a great experience, one I am so grateful to have experienced.
What’s a hobby or interest you have that might surprise your colleagues?
Candle making. I love a good candle and recently started making my own! Life is better when your house smells nice!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). To see the sky dance would be magical. It is on the bucket list.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a long day at work?
A walk with the family, my husband, daughter and our mini Dachshund.
