Radio Replacement update
Nine thousand portable radios and 8,000 mobile radios are being distributed across the state over the next 12 to 18 months.
ICT Communications Program Director Shane Peacock says more than 10,000 operational members across 14 districts have already completed the training for the new radios.
"A huge thank you to all the volunteer trainers who have assisted with the training," he said.
"On average, we are delivering 200 portables a week to brigades."
