New eLearning module on valuing our volunteers
The ‘Valuing our Volunteers – Bringing our narrative to life’ eLearning module has valuable insights about CFA's volunteers.
It offers a glimpse into their motivations, challenges, and the significant impact they make.
The module encourages all of us to reflect on how our everyday actions, attitudes and behaviours contribute to making CFA a great place to volunteer and work.
The module is accessible through the Digital Learning Catalogue on the Learning Hub and is available to all CFA members.
Key topics covered in the module include:
- concept definitions: understand the meaning of volunteers, volunteering, and volunteerism within CFA
- recognising volunteer roles: explore the vital role played by CFA volunteers, drawing insights from their perspectives
- effective practices: learn about everyday practices that enhance staff interactions with volunteers
- living our values: discover collective actions that staff can take to align with CFA’s values in a volunteer-centred organisation.
We would like to acknowledge the CFA volunteers who shared their experiences and stories when developing this module.
We encourage all members to enrol in this course and familiarise themselves with this essential information. For any questions about the module, please email orgdev@cfa.vic.gov.au
