New class kits to support training

Member News image 42 class sets of 12 tablets each were allocated to each district

With the release of General Firefighter 2.0 coming soon, the distribution of new class tablet kits will be a welcome addition to assist CFA instructors to deliver and assess classroom training.

The tablets will support members across the state to easily access digital learning during face-to-face training sessions, with instructors able to record assessments directly in the Learning Hub and make them available on skills profiles in real time.

Funded under the Volunteer Digital Learning and Enhancing Training Capacity for New Volunteers (GFF) Project and community donations following the 2019-20 fire season, the all-in-one kits are available for booking by instructors from their district headquarters.

The 42 class sets of 12 tablets each were allocated to each district is based on recent General Firefighter enrolment numbers.
