CFA is again take part in the Emergency Services Blood Drive this year, with members encouraged to roll up their sleeves between 1 May and 31 July.
The annual Lifeblood campaign sees Australian emergency service organisations compete to give the highest number of blood and plasma donations.
One whole blood donation can save up to three lives, while plasma and platelet donations are vital for many lifesaving treatments.
CFA members, their friends and family can all join Team CFA. To add to CFA’s tally, simply book in and make a whole blood, plasma or platelet donation over the next three months, and make sure you’ve joined our Lifeblood Team by searching for Country Fire Authority on the Lifeblood website.
