2025 Ready to Lead Graduates
The 2026 Life Saving Victoria Ready to Lead Program is a Women in Lifesaving initiative, focusing on leadership development of all aspiring and current women leaders in the eergency services
The aim is to provide aspiring and current women leaders with skills and a targeted approach to support ongoing commitment to their development.
The leadership pillars that will be included in the program include
- Understanding self
- Impacting and leading
- Getting things done
Throughout the program, participants will be guided by successful industry leaders who will share their experience, knowledge and lessons learned along the way.
In 2026, the program will have two streams
- Ready to Lead Emerging: for women who are just starting on their leadership or supervisory journey.
- Ready to Lead Plus: for women who are leading others on a regular basis and have been in leadership for at least a few years.
The two streams have been designed to accommodate the diverse range of experiences women bring to the program and where they are on their leadership journey.
CFA will be supporting 10 aspiring and current women volunteers and employees to attend this year's program.

- Expression of Interest closes on Sunday 22 February 2026
- Notification of Internal Selection by Thursday 26 February 2026
- Program Start Wednesday 25 March 2026
- Program Graduation Saturday 30 May 2026
