Learning Hub update - March 2026
CFA Digital Library / https://digitallibrary.cfa.vic.gov.au
We’ve made several updates to the Learning Hub (LMS) to improve usability and make navigation easier for members.
This is an important step for CFA, as these enhancements improve system functionality, support compliance and create a better overall member experience.
The key updates
- Assessments: Members will now only need to answer questions they got wrong when re-attempting tests.
- Brigade course creation: Volunteer numbers will be available in search when selecting members.
- Submissions: Once marked, submissions cannot be removed.
Included in this update are a number of other smaller changes to improve our members' experience using the Learning Hub.
More details on the changes and improvements in the update can be found on the LMS updates page on Members Online.
Guides developed to support members
New guides have been created to support members to navigate the changes. These can be found in the Catalogues tab within the Learning Hub by selecting LMS Guides (Members).
Assessments
The Training Design and Development team will be updating all course templates to reflect the changes in relation to on-the-job assessments and knowledge assessments. This will be done as quickly as possible, however it will take some time. Until each course is updated the old functionality will remain.
The team's priority is to complete the high attendance courses such as General Firefighter and Respond to Urban first.
