Learning Hub catalogue aligned with Training Pathways
New courses are being added to the Learning Hub to align CFA’s training program with our new Training Pathways.
Members will notice some changes to the way they search for, locate and express interest in courses on the Learning Hub once this work is complete.
In the coming weeks, the pathways will be updated on Members Online and links to Learning Hub courses added.
Changes to course catalogue and enrolment
Brigades and volunteer members
The course catalogue on the Learning Hub will align with the Training Pathways for volunteer training.
To locate the course they want to complete, members will need to find it in the relevant training pathway on the Learning Hub, navigate to the course they want to complete and lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Some Expression of Interest forms may change or be removed due to courses being newly aligned with the training pathways course structures.
Existing EOIs and requests won’t be impacted by these updates.
The stages to enrolment for most training is:
CFA staff members
CFA staff will now locate training in a separate staff training catalogue, which will be separated into broad topics to make training easier to locate.
Those members who are responsible for managing staff training can apply for staff admin access to the Learning Hub.
Other Hub updates
Known issue: Volunteer number not available
We are aware of an issue with members' volunteer numbers not being available when selecting participants to add to brigade training. Email addresses can be used to identify members in the interim while we resolve this issue, which is expected to take some time to rectify.
Brigade Training Profile
The brigade training profile is now available in the Learning Hub for captains, lieutenants and Brigade Training Coordinators to manage brigade training sessions, record skills drills and access brigade training records.
Administrator and supervisor profiles updated
Learning Hub administrators and supervisor profiles have been updated. If you have any issues with access as a result, please log a job with ICT Service Desk ict-it-servicedesk@cfa.vic.gov.au to have this resolved.
