Launch of the Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games
The 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games was launched at Victoria Police Academy on 6 August 2025.
The launch in Mount Waverley recognised that the Games began there in 1980. Reprentatives from the 24 agencies involved in the Games were present. A historical presentatiuon of the Games was given by retired member of Victoria police Danny Bodycoat who was on the inaugural committee. Awards were also presented, with the Inter Agency Trophy presented to Corrections.
This is a reminder for all CFA members that they are eligible to enter and compete in the games and that online registrations are now open. The Victorian Games offer 47 diferent sports for either individuals or team sports.

2026 Australasian Police and Emeregency Services Games to be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, from 10-17 October 2026, offering more than 70 sports.
2027 World Police and Fire Games to be held in Perth, WA, from 12-27 March 2027 offering more than 60 sports featuring Ulimate Firefighter and Stair Race with an opening and closing ceremony.
