Expanding brigade Tyers shares how to give it a crack

The growing team from Tyers shared how community engagement and social media posts played a key part in recruiting new members and raising awareness within the community.

As the host of the June Volunteer Forum, Tyers members provided insights on how the brigade works closely with other agencies in the region, such as FRV, which has enabled members to expand their skills so the brigade can respond to varying incidents.

The forum also featured video updates on Training from DCO Rohan Luke, training and licencing for remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) from Commander John Katakouzinos AFSM, the pumper announcement at Wendouree, and doctrine update from Tim Connor.

And this forum reaches for the skies with one of CFA's new drones on display.

Check out these items and more from the July Volunteer Forum below.
