CFA volunteers complete volunteer leadership program
A group of CFA volunteers recently completed a volunteer leadership program, acquiring crucial skills that will greatly improve their leadership capabilities.
The Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience Volunteer Leadership Program is designed to equip volunteers from community organisations, not-for-profits, disaster relief agencies, and local governments within the emergency management sector with the tools to become effective leaders.
Held from 16 to 18 August 2024, the program offered a unique platform for volunteers to participate in interactive learning sessions. Participants explored practical leadership frameworks and deepened their understanding of their roles within their organisations.
The collaborative environment allowed them to share experiences and learn from peers across various sectors.
