Board heads to District 2
The Board travelled to Kangaroo Flat in District 2 for their May meeting.
During their visit, Board members, including new Board Chair Jo Plummer, were given a tour of the Kangaroo Flat DMO workshop by Acting Officer in Charge Mike Zimmer.
Jo was appointed CFA Board Chair in May after serving as Deputy Chair since 2023.
"Our District Mechanical Officers play such a vital role in maintaining our capability and keeping our members and the community safe," Board Chair Jo Plummer said.
"It was wonderful to learn more about their role and the equipment and vehicles they use to maintain the CFA fleet both in the workshops and on the fireground."
