Blown away by the Champs
It was a dark and stormy night… but the March Volunteer Forum charged ahead at North Park Reserve in Stawell, the latest venue for the CFA State Championships.
Hosted by Acting Chief Officer Alen Slijepcevic AFSM, the inclement weather didn’t prevent our special guests from shining a light on the benefits and great experiences had by members who participate and attend the Championships.
With Stawell Captain Mal Nicholson and Stawell Group Officer Aaron Croft guiding viewers through the upgrades and experience of hosting the event, to the oversight of history and future vision from Urban Championships Committee Chair Steven Ellis and Rural Championships Committee Deputy Chair Howard Smith.
As well as a Training Update giving exclusive vision of the new driving simulator in action to videos about CFA’s 75-year involvement with the Good Friday Appeal, the forum also featured insight into newly propped fire weather district mapping for Victoria.
You’ll be blown away by what you see this forum.
