Basin brigade attends (mock) meteor crash
Members from The Basin Fire Brigade were quick to respond when a ‘meteor’ crashed into their local primary school.
The mock crash was an exercise created by teachers at The Basin Primary School to encourage increased creativity in the students’ writing.
Dry ice and magnets were used to make the ‘crash site’ look real.
Science teacher Helen Clark said she’s never seen the students more excited!
Our members were more than happy to lend a hand, staying on scene to ensure correct meteor crash protocols were followed.
