AI debuts in CFA Search

Generative AI being used in Members Online search Generative AI being used in Members Online search

CFA members can expect a vastly enhanced experience using search on CFA’s Members Online with the inclusion of artificial intelligence (AI).

While AI has become more commonplace with ChatGPT and in Google Search, this latest update is still a rare beast in private environments such as Members Online.

The “AI Search Trial” tab on the Members Online Search page gives you the opportunity to get a quick and clear overview of your search topic without requiring you to click on any individual pages.

To the right on the AI result, we display links to the sources, which you can visit to find out more information.

Below the AI Answer there is a selection of links and documents to choose from if your question hasn’t been answered or you’re looking for more in-depth information.

Additionally, we’ve included an opportunity for you to help us gauge if this addition is improving your experience with Search. Users can vote by clicking on a thumbs up or a thumbs down based on the results of your search. You can also use the thumbs up/down to vote on the results below the AI answer.

The team at Search HQ will be able to use your feedback to finetune our search results to ensure we’re getting the best results for you.
